Las Palmas Restaurant and Catering

Husband and wife team Selia Herrera and Roberto Green bring Dominican food and culture to the Boston area with Las Palmas Restaurant and Catering. Selia and Roberto opened their first location in Rosilnade, Massachusetts, in 2018.

Las Palmas was one of the many businesses unfortunately affected by the pandemic. They worked with BEI by participating in the Business Equity COVID-19 Emergency Fund, providing funds and advisory services to businesses impacted by the pandemic in 2020. As a result, they returned stronger than ever and now have three locations, with the most recent opening in Smith Campus Center’s arcade in Harvard Square.

Selia and Roberto are not only passionate about sharing their culture through traditional family recipes but also supporting their community. For example, during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, they provided free meals in collaboration with the World Central Kitchen.

Selia and Roberto are serving comfort to those who are missing their culture far from home while introducing it to those new to the island’s flavors. Make sure you stop by one of three locations or order catering!
