Frank Carvalho

Frank has more than 30 years of banking experience, most recently as the vice president in charge of the small business lending program at Enterprise Bank. As our founding CEO, Frank led Nectar through its start-up phase, CDFI certification, subsequent funding from the CDFI Fund, banking license from the Massachusetts Division of Banks, team expansion and the growth of the balance sheet to more than $6 million by 2020. He is also the owner of a small business in Lowell, which he has owned and operated for the last 30 years. Frank holds a master’s degree in community economic development from Southern New Hampshire University.
