Alexandra Nova
Chief Executive Officer
Alexandra Nova is the Chief Executive Officer of Nectar Community Investments. She leads the organization’s strategic direction, growth, and operations, working closely with staff, partners, investors, and community stakeholders to advance Nectar’s impact and strengthen its long-term sustainability. Since joining Nectar in 2021, Alex has played a key role in the organization’s evolution, helping guide its growth, expand its reach, and deepen its community impact.
Before being appointed CEO in June 2026, Alex served as Chief Operating Officer, overseeing organizational operations and leading strategic initiatives across the organization. She previously led strategic initiatives at Nectar’s legacy organization, Mill Cities Community Investments, helping lay the foundation for the organization’s continued growth and eventual merger into Nectar Community Investments.
Prior to joining Nectar, Alex served as Deputy Director of the Lawrence Partnership, a public-private collaboration dedicated to fostering economic development in Lawrence, Massachusetts. She has a marketing and events management background and has worked with several of the Commonwealth’s leading corporations, including State Street, Wellington Management, and Eastern Bank. Earlier in her career, she worked in Lawrence as a Program Manager with Family Services, Inc. and as the Latino Medical Support and Family Case Manager at Fidelity House, Inc.
Alex is known for her strategic vision, collaborative leadership style, and deep commitment to building economic opportunity in the communities Nectar serves.
