Aiyah Josiah-Faeduwor is a proud Rhode Islander, with 15 years of experience directly engaged in community work at the intersection of economic development and social impact. Aiyah’s theory of change is rooted in uplifting urban communities through collaborative ecosystem development and building collective capacity to innovate from the margins. Aiyah is a founding board member and the former inaugural Executive Director of Millennial Rhode Island, a multi-generational networking organization inspiring millennials to #ChooseRI as a place to live, work, and thrive. He is a former Providence School Board member and currently sits on the Commission for Health Advocacy & Equity for the Rhode Island Department of Health. As a freelance photographer and videographer, as well as the co-owner of his family’s West African cuisine restaurant in Rhode Island, Bintimani, Aiyah brings a deep empathy for the entrepreneurs Nectar serves.

Aiyah holds master’s degrees in city planning and business administration from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as a bachelor’s degree in public policy with a focus on education policy from Brown University.
